Ruita impact bars
Ruita impact bars are used in heavy duty applications at conveyor belt loading points designed to sit directly underneath the conveyor the polyethelene top allows the belt to run over it with minimal friction while the thick block of rubber takes the energy out of the material at these points. These complete impact cradles not only minimise maintenance by out lasting conventional rollers but they hold the belt in position therefore significantly reducing transfer point spillage. SPECIFICATION Bars are made up of a cast aluminium special-slotted base covered in a solid block of 55 shore hard rubber with a 10mm polyethelene top. ruita supply this drop forged special -bolts as standard with longer bolts available on request.
One advantage
Spillage significantly reduced therefore less downtime in cleaning out from under conveyors. • Transfer points under crushers usually have very little space to work in and limited access means rollers are difficult to change which means more downtime. • The belt is supported on a continuous flat surface which not only guides it but protects it from gouging by sharp material. • Equal stress distribution reduces wear and tear on the belt.
